This brand new bike has been built by our mechanics and inspected for warranty issues. We will repack the bike to ship it to you.

It is strongly recommended that your bike be built/put together by a pro bike tech at a bike shop.
Note: every bike will be packed slightly differently based on the shape/specs of the bike, thus requiring different amounts of skill level to reassemble.
Always take pictures of the bike in the box before removing it from the box whether there is box damage or not.
Any problems with bikes that have been shipped will need to be addressed by an independent bike shop; whether it is possible damage from shipping or some other reason.
If the bike has been damaged in shipping, we will need to file an insurance claim with the carrier. This claim will need to be accompanied with a bike shop’s invoice for repairs of the damages incurred in shipping.
Note: The Extra Mile is a bike shop and will work with your local bike shop to resolve any problems with the bike and get you rolling.
(Failure to follow these recommendations will hinder the possibility of returns/reimbursement)

RETURNS: We will not take returns on items that get worn/used outside. Please determine that everything fits right inside. Things such as tents, skis, sleeping bags, bike parts, BIKES or similar items, we can't accept a return if used.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We only ship USPS priority for tracking and insurance on items shipped internationally. We can't change stated price or mark as gift. Keep in mind there may be additional VAT/taxes, custom charges that you will be responsible for from your country to receive your package.
INTERNATIONAL SKI AND BIKE SHIPPING: PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE PURCHASING! The shipping calculator is likely not accurate. Shipping for bikes and large packages internationally, must be arranged by the buyer–we can give you package weight and dimensions to figure out a quote with a carrier like DHL.
SHOE/CLOTHING FIT: We would be glad to promptly make any additional measurements for you to minimize the need to return. If you need to return we recommend purchasing insurance.
PACKAGING: We use recycled bubble wrap and boxes often--let us know if you'd like new shipping materials.
SHIPPING: automatic shipping costs pertain to the lower 48 states. If shipping internationally or outside the lower 48 states, ie AK, HI, PR, there may be additional charges.
Bigger/heavier items will be shipped via UPS and will require a NON-PO BOX ADDRESS.
The Extra Mile Outdoor Gear & Bike will provide free shipping in the Continental USA for all items under 2 lbs. Items over 2 lbs will have a calculated shipping rate, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE LISTING.
There will be an additional charge of $7 to AK, PR, and HI (or other USPS non-continental served locations).
We use USPS Priority mail for most domestic clothing and footwear items. Larger, heavier items will be shipped FEDEX Ground. We ship within 24-48 hours of purchase and payment. If an item is purchased on a Friday or on the weekend it will not ship until Monday of the following week. We will not ship on US Postal service holidays.
The Extra Mile will determine if certain items require additional shipping services such as insurance and/or signature confirmation.
SHIPPING TO ALTERNATE ADDRESSES
We can only ship to a verified address in PayPal or eBay. If you’d like your item shipped to a different address, please add this address to your profile in PayPal or eBay and make it the primary address.

The Extra Mile has a 14 day return policy. If the item is returned in the same condition with packaging, tags etc. as purchased, a full refund will be granted. We will not accept returns after 14 days from delivery date.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. It is recommended that you purchase tracking and shipping services for your returned item.
In the event the item has been mistakenly misrepresented, The Extra Mile will pay for return shipping.
To minimize the need to return for fit issues, please ask for measurements before purchasing.
Used items must be returned in the same used condition in which they were purchased. Certain items such as bikes, bike parts, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, skis, snowboards, bindings, etc will not be accepted as a return if they have been used by the buyer.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
